What exactly is The Ritual Presents The Surrealist Ball?
The Surrealist Ball is a masked ball inspired by Truman Capote’s glamorous and infamous Black and White ball of 1966. A feast for all the senses, The Ritual only asks of you one thing……………..Follow the call.

How do I get there?
You can make your own way to Slane Castle via private bus, taxi, driving and parking or drop off. Alternatively we are offering a Dublin bus service from Connolly Station and Trinity Halls.

Can I drive?
Yes you can parking will be available at the venue with a small car parking charge.
What is the banquet?
The banquet is an optional ticket where attendees can join a three course meal hosted by culinary maestros Bahay. This will be hosted in the iconic dining hall in Slane Castle. This ticket includes entry to the event after the dining experience.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
This is not a BYOB event therefore no alcohol will be permitted. There will be a selection of bars serving alcohol at The Ritual.
Is there a dress code?
Halloween costume attire is encouraged.
Will there be a cloak room?
There will be a cloak room on site.
Will the bars take cash?
This event will be cashless with bars taking cards for payment.
How many stages will there be?
There will be three stages of music at The Ritual. One main stage erected within the castle’s courtyard, one intimate stage within the castle itself and one stage within the venue’s very special purpose-built underground nightclub which hasn't seen the glimmer of a disco ball since the 1980’s… until now.

Is this a camping event?
No this is not a camping event there will be no one permitted to stay on after the event has finished.
